The Quinta da Portelinha, an 18th century manor house located within an estate of Alvarinho vineyards, has been beautifully restored to offer visitors all the modern comforts in a cosy, relaxing and refined atmosphere. It’s the perfect location to discover the traditional surroundings – ramble amongst the vineyards, visit the traditional village of Monção, with its renowned spa, wander along the banks of the river Minho and its fishing areas, in the northern border of Portugal and Spain, which is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Or use it as a base to explore a maze of cities, traditional villages and markets. Valença, Melgaço, Ponte de Barca, Ponte de Lima (where you will find an 18 hole golf course) Braga, Caminha, Viana do Castelo and the National Park of Peneda-Gerês are all within easy driving distance.

This beautiful farm is set on an Alvarinho estate 3 Ks from the historical village of Monçao and 15 Ks from the small town of Valença. The manor is forty-five minutes from Oporto, which has an international airport, and 30ks from Vigo (Spain).

Suites are located in guest houses facing the courtyard where the manor stables were once found. Here you can enjoy independence and comfort. Choose between suites with twin beds or a double. All suites have an ensuite bathroom and a sitting room with a fireplace. Families have the option of adjacent suites with a lounge in common.
The farm has a swimming pool, a tennis court, a chapel and a games room with table tennis.
